I'm back!!!! With... a new OOTD

Well Hello there! I apologize for my departure from Blogger world the past month or so. It's been a crazy whirlwind lately with work, a broken computer and oh yeah, I forgot that I have kids. But I'm back on the blogger bandwagon now, and let me tell you, I've missed you all so much!!!

So, let's get to the point- my outfit. I actually chose to wear this to work yesterday, I call it my black swan look (got the dress and the belt last year in NYC way before the movie ever came out):

Sunglasses: Gucci

This is quite a departure from my usual look, I feel that it's a bit whimsical and reminds me a bit of being in a fairy tale. Wearing this outfit is the closest thing that I will ever be to a ballerina, simply because I can't dance for sh*t:

The best thing is that it's all black so if my kids spill stuff the outfit won't be ruined:

Omigosh- can I tell you how much I love my new MacBook Pro? So sexy, so sleek, and virus free! That's how I like my men (oops, i mean, uh, computers).

Also, I wanted to give thanks to my blogger friends and non-blogger friends who sent me nice emails to see if I was still alive. I am alive, so that's a relief :)

OOTD- Leather and Suede

Hello Friends:

Again the sun is shining today and it's amazing how some vitamin D can put me in a super duper mood!  As it is still a bit cool outside I still had to keep warm but wanted to shed the nasty layers that winter has left behind, hence my ensemble to the office below:

I cannot tell you how much I love this leather Mackage jacket that I originally talked about here. It's so light and the leather is so buttery soft that you just want to rub your skin all over it. I can definitely see myself wearing it on those cool spring/summer nights and it's just one of investment pieces that I'll have for years and years to come. It also came in black but I decided to go with the gunmetal gray color because any more black in my closet I would look like I worked in morgue.

And because spring is here, I seriously couldn't wait to slip into my favorite pair of nude, suede sandals:

I love the stud detailing on this shoe- so rebellious!!!

OOTD- Flirty office wear

I hope that you had a fantastic weekend!

I've been having such a blast doing the OOTD posts, you guys have been so incredibly kind that I'm going to continue on with them!

So today I thought that I would show you guys what I wore to the office. My work is really awesome when it comes to dress code, as basically, there is none. I've seen everything from birkenstocks and socks (ew, ew, ew) and guys with pot bellies wearing shirts that say 'I'm for Rent'- very Classy! So I feel that I can push the envelope just a tiny bit when it comes to 'what to wear' to work. In winter you will see me almost 100% in pants (as it's freakin cold here in Toronto) but once the warm weather hits you cannot keep me away from skirts and dresses. Hence this outfit:

Don't mind me, I'm just posing and goofing around.

This is my favorite (and only) black skirt. It's so comfy and unrestricting, perfect for long days sitting at my desk after having a big office lunch. The top is pretty casual but I wanted to dress it up with my statement necklace from Banana Republic that I got for 60% off a few seasons ago. They really do make great jewelry for a reasonable price. And I love love love my sunglasses, they double as the perfect headband as well:

The booties are perfect for when you don't want to wear sandals but it's too warm to wear boots (or you're too lazy to get a pedicure, like me):
