So I have been a very, very bad blogger. I had every intention of posting this last week, but then life happened. By life happening, I mean that:
1) The family and I were supposed to go on vacation starting today to a lovely 4 bedroom cottage on the lake in Haliburton, Ontario for a few weeks. Unfortunately, because of a slight misunderstanding with the owners, they now refuse us to go up and have threatened to taken 'immediate' action on us if we show up on their property. The kicker? We gave them all of the funds up front back in March and they refuse to give it back to us unless they re-rent their cottage. So we are taking their ass to court to get our funds back. Now doesn't that just suck?
And if that weren't crappy enough:
1) Last week, I dropped a huge mother f*****'n wooden butcher block on my right toe. It was the most absolutely stupid thing that could have happened to me and of course had to happen while I was cleaning, which is why I vow to never clean anything again. I dropped so many f-bombs that my husband had to take the kids out of the kitchen and now my foot looks like something out of a horror show. And it's open toe shoe season god-dammit! I'll spare you the details, but let's just say that my toe is a very unfashionable shade of black and blue :(
Okay, so enough of my bitchiness and sob stories. Let's get back to business, shall we?

Holy crap, i still cannot believe that I own a Chanel bag. It's a small/medium double flap bag in caviar leather that was purchased from the Chanel store at Saks Fifth Avenue. The service was absolutely incredible and although I almost had a major anxiety attack in the store while I handed over my credit card I have not looked back on this purchase. It truly is very elegant and timeless classic. I promise to take some OOTD's soon with this beauty!!!

Ack, you poor thing! I hope you're still going to somewhere special for your vacation. As for your toe, I'd be swearing my head off to if I were you. **hugs** Hope things turn for the better next week.
Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry about your toe, ouch! That is so freaking annoying about the cabin rental. We had a nightmare situation last year with a house we rented in Florida. We got there and the pool was green and there were maggots in the trash! awesome. We didn't stay, but we spent the entire week of vacation bickering with the d!ckheads about getting our money back. So irritating. I am so sorry you are dealing with those turds. I hope it works out for you and quickly.

Lovely Classic Flap! You'd get a lot of mileage out of this bag really. Practically goes with every style. And caviar is maintenance free to boot. Enjoy the bag ;p
Wow, I am really sorry to hear about the potential lawsuit and the crushed toe! I hope you will be able to figure out other vacation plans. At least the weather here has been beautiful and a "staycation" is still a great option.

I'm sorry to hear about your toe. That really blows. I hate it when I have the stupid injuries that end up being really embarrassing when you re-tell the story. Hahahhaa. You totally remind me of myself when you said that you dropped all of those f-bombs. I would have gone on such an f-bomb spree!

ohhhh wow!! i've been wating the 2.55 flap bag, but it's too small for me as I have lots of things to carry....so i chose a GST tote. but the caviar leather is just soooo durable and you'll never scratch it! I've got a smaller lamb one just for parties and dinners. Yours is definitely a piece of timeless classic!

Sorry to hear about all mishaps that happened, hope both ordeals turn out in a better way soon. On another thought though, there may be a series of good luck waiting to come.

Whoa, what's going on with the Cottage thing?!? That is soooo weird! Why would you even WANT to re-rent their cottage when they don't want you on the property and what's up with them NOT giving you the $$$ back??? CRAZY!!!

omgsh! So sorry about all the crappy-ness! I've been having a rough time too, every time I turn around I get bad news. I told my husband "when it rains, it pours" and it's really pouring on me so I feel ya!

Oh, I'm sorry to hear about your misunderstanding and mishap but hey... you've got a chanel to brighten up your day and I wanna scream when I saw your reveal and look at the date coz we got the exact same black caviar in gold hardware at almost the same period. Hahaha... That's quite exciting for a stumble upon your blog. I will blog about it soon.
OMG can't believe what happened to you :( I'm sure the new Chanel helped brighten the situation a bit? There is only one bag that I want in this world and that is Chanel!
