Dress: H & M Shoes: Geox Bag: Louis Vuitton Necklace: Tiffany's |
This outfit post is upon request for my good friend Vicky. This dress has been getting a lot of love lately- I've been wearing it recently to work, to my son's SK graduation and out to dinner with the ladies. It's the perfect summer dress, light enough for those sweltering muggy days (which Toronto has had 0 of lately) and loose enough to fit in a few buffet meals. For those of you that don't know me, I
Yes, I am playing catch with my Louis Vuitton. Clearly I am running out of posing ideas. |
Another great thing about this dress was the price- it was $39!!! Can you believe it??? And what about the shoes? I.LOVE.THOSE.SHOES. Even though the heel is a little higher then I normally wear they are surprisingly comfortable and very lightweight. Geox is known for comfortable footwear but I never thought that I would find a pair this stylish:
And.... this is completely off topic but last night I had the pleasure of seeing the one and only LIONEL RITCHIE in concert here in Toronto. We were dancing ALL NIGHT LONG (hehe) as Lionel certainly knew how to work the crowd! And thanks to bucket loads of botox he looked awesome as well. If you ever get the opportunty to see him in concert go check it out (and don't worry if the crowd looks like a Depends convention, you'll still have a blast!).
Thanks for reading!

What, loved Lionel Ritchie! I can totally see why you love that dress, it's so versatile but I was SHOCKED that it was from H&M and you got it at a great price - definitely worth the cost per wear ;)
I know, I hate humid days but I'm kind of longing for a REAL summer in Toronto!
The dress is beautiful, you look stunning. Great outfit.
However, what caught my eye immediately is the fact that you look so totally happy! :)
Take care and keep it that way.
Colin.
You are adorable! I love the way this dress fits you, and those shoes look like they would be uber comfortable. We all know what it feels like to dance for hours and have your feet DYING ... It's good to actually have a comfortable pair of shoes, for once.
