I hope that you had a fantastic weekend!
I've been having such a blast doing the OOTD posts, you guys have been so incredibly kind that I'm going to continue on with them!
So today I thought that I would show you guys what I wore to the office. My work is really awesome when it comes to dress code, as basically, there is none. I've seen everything from birkenstocks and socks (ew, ew, ew) and guys with pot bellies wearing shirts that say 'I'm for Rent'- very Classy! So I feel that I can push the envelope just a tiny bit when it comes to 'what to wear' to work. In winter you will see me almost 100% in pants (as it's freakin cold here in Toronto) but once the warm weather hits you cannot keep me away from skirts and dresses. Hence this outfit:
:
Necklace: Banana Republic Skirt: BCBG Top: Splendid Sunglasses: Gucci Shoes: Aldo |
Don't mind me, I'm just posing and goofing around. |
This is my favorite (and only) black skirt. It's so comfy and unrestricting, perfect for long days sitting at my desk after having a big office lunch. The top is pretty casual but I wanted to dress it up with my statement necklace from Banana Republic that I got for 60% off a few seasons ago. They really do make great jewelry for a reasonable price. And I love love love my sunglasses, they double as the perfect headband as well:
A closer look at the necklace |
The booties are perfect for when you don't want to wear sandals but it's too warm to wear boots (or you're too lazy to get a pedicure, like me):
Hello.... sexy booties!!!! |
Hope you enjoyed the post. And before I forget, you can now find me on twitter @makemommychic. I finally caved in and got a twitter account. Now, if only someone can teach me how to use it.....
Happy Monday!!!!

Love these OOTDs! Your work sounds like my work. There are people that come in their PJ's with holes in the pants, crazy!!! I'm still not brave enough to go tightless. I think it will have to be SUPER hot out for me to do that - plus the A/C at work doesn't help!
Damn! You look awesome- how do the guys get work done at your office? ;)
I'm quite in love with that necklace, so bold and sassy! xx
Hey Sharon, Another great outfit office wear is an area of wardrobe that needs a serious overhaul! I love the skirt & the fact it's perfect for big lunches, added to my list ;) The sexy booties are amazing, perfect for the weather we have been getting lately...birkenstocks and socks no words but shocking!! :) x
you've got a smoldering hot body! lol at the "im for rent" shirts and pot bellies :)
Your work sounds amazing with the dress code. I'm jealous. I wish I could have that freedom!
Compared to what the other people sound like they are wearing to the office ("I'm for rent" ... really?), you must be the best dressed babe there.
